A Soleful Journey is owned and operated by Rebecca Wellensiek. Rebecca is committed to providing highly skilled, knowledgeable and inspired bodywork. She believes in honoring the body and its own innate healing abilities, therefore she does not do deep pressure.She believes that there is a difference between deep pressure and deep tissue massage. Causing pain inhibits the body's response to the deep tissue therapeutic massage process.

She uses medium pressure, allowing the tissue under her hands to relax enough to accept the beneficial value of the massage.

With over sixteen years experience, Rebecca has continued to improve her skills and knowledge to deepen her understanding of the mind, body, and spirit connection. She is passionate about massage and body work. She welcomes all age groups, with a particular emphasis on senior rejuvenation and well being.

Certificated as a massage therapist, esthetician, reflexologist, lymphatic drainage practitioner and personal trainer,she routinely participates in advancing her skills on new techniques and treatments.
